Love is a fear filled with courage,
that can be as fake as it can be real.
Love is the deepest sadness,
a sadness I hope you never feel.
Love is a commitment,
a bonding through life.
Love is a four letter hassle,
you may regret not thinking about twice.
In every existence that mother nature guards,
There is an understanding that for us is so hard.
It is an understanding that most people feel,
Not once, not twice, not ever.
So don’t be fooled by the deceiving of love,
Because it’s one of those things that you just have to forget,
But at the same time be cautious of.

I had been considering, for a while, the several “breakups” of boy friends and girl friends that were taking place between the students. I decided to write a poem on the one thing these relationships or deep friendships were supposed to be built on, love itself.
